This policy applies to information PASCO collects about individuals who interact with our organisation. It explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.

Personal data that we process.

The following table explains the types of data we collect and the legal basis, under the current data protection legislation, on which the data is processed.

Signing up as a member. Name, Address, email, telephone number, names of family members relevant to the application. By submitting your membership form and/or paying your membership, you enter a contractual relationship with us as set out in PASCO’s constitution.
Subscription- Enquiring about our organisation and its functions, events and any updates. Name, email, telephone number. Legitimate interest - It is necessary for us to read and store your message so that so that we can respond to the way that you would expect.(Includes information provided verbally).
Subscribing to information via email or messaging. Name, email, telephone number. Consent - you have given your active consent.
Use of photos/ images for the PASCO website Photos/images Photos taken at a PASCO event may be used in the website gallery.

How we use your data.

We will only use your data in a manner that is appropriate, considering the basis on which the data was collected, as set out in the table above.

We will use your data to inform you about our events and functions, to circulate public information sent to us by organisations to send to our members and subscribers and any community-based news and information.

When we share your data.

We will only pass your data to a third party if you have provided explicit consent.

How long do we keep your data.

We take the principle of data minimisation and removal seriously and will only ask for minimum amount of data for associated purposes and will delete the data once it is no longer required.

You will automatically consent annually when you renew your membership. You can revoke this consent at any time by contacting us at secretary@pasco.org.uk

Where data is collected based on consent for subscription you can revoke this at any time by contacting us at secretary@pasco.org.uk

We will automatically remove data of non-members or inactive subscribers every three years.

Rights you have over your data.

You have right of access to your information.

You have right to ask for rectification and or deletion of your information.

Please note that relying on some of these rights, such as the right to deleting your data, will make it impossible for PASCO to continue to deliver some services to you.

Modifications.

We may modify this policy from time to time and will publish the most current version on our website. If a modification meaningfully reduces your rights, we will notify those people affected.
